Thank you for participating in this survey that investigates your feelings about British Sign Language (BSL). The purpose of the research is to find out what you think about British Sign Language and other methods of communication. The questionnaire will include questions about how you feel about being Deaf and your feelings about the hearing world as well as questions about how you feel BSL is represented in the UK. The questionnaire will take approximately 30 to 60 minutes. Even though we will be asking for your e-mail address, all your answers will be analyzed anonymously so that confidentiality of your results will be guaranteed. Your e-mail address will be used only in case it's necessary to contact you. The Middlesex Psychology Departments Ethics Committee have reviewed this proposal and approved the research.
